Traffic Town - Pop up bike school!

Traffic Town is a fun, interactive, pop-up bike riding experience that transforms pathways in into a miniature streetscape where children can learn essential road safety skills while having fun.

Children will navigate a network complete with portable road signs, working traffic lights, zebra crossings and give way intersections, helping them build confidence and understand the basics of riding safely in a real-world environment.

As they make their way through Traffic Town, children can collect stamps in their rider passport by completing a series of engaging activity stations including:

• Registering for their rider licence

• completing a helmet safety check

• mastering traffic lights

• Balance test

• And heaps more!

Plus, there's a dedicated balance bike zone to provide a safe and fun space for kids under five to develop their skills.

To ensure the event is accessible to everyone, Traffic Town includes a bike and helmet library for families who don't have their own equipment, while those with their own bikes are encouraged to bring them along.

Traffic Town is designed to build confidence, develop lifelong cycling skills and encourage safe, active transport through hands-on learning and play.

This is a free event but registrations are essential.
