Walk / Talk / Connect

Welcome to Nature Zen's "Trail Talk & Walk" - a 90 minute group session that includes a guided mindful nature walk with activities, plus a 20 to 30 minute talk by our guest presenter. We will also enjoy a cup of tea and a treat, amongst the tranquil serene eucalyptus trees of Whites Hill Reserve.

Hosted by Nature Zen & featuring Guest Presenter: Dr Stephen Mattarollo of Qigong & Nature Healing, who will share information and practices on the topic "Stress, Inflammation & Restoring Balance".

Dr Stephen Mattarollo is a certified nature-based therapist & Level 2 Qigong instructor with a background as a biomedical research scientist. He will share his findings about the mind/body connection and how stress impacts our mental and physical health including our immune system.

This session is for anyone living with or suffered from chronic stress or inflammation, and are seeking information and evidence-based practices to support the condition, and meet other community members with similar journeys.

Thursday 17th July 2025 (9:30am to 11.00am)
Whites Hill Reserve (Enter via Boundary Rd Camp Hill, and drive past the soccer fields up towards the kids playground, then turn left into the carpark before the touch fields. We will meet at the end of the cul-de-sac carpark near to the forest).
What to wear: Some good walking shoes, comfortable clothes, a hat or rain jacket if weather looks ominous or bring an umbrella.
NB/ In the case of severe weather, organisers may postpone or cancel the event. A decision would usually be made 24hrs prior.
