Trailblazing Women with Joanna Morris from Matilda

This event has passed Get Tickets

Event description

Joanna Morris, is the co-founder and CEO of Matilda, an evidence based digital platform which aims to provide affordable and accessible holistic care for people with endometriosis.

Matilda does this through symptom and lifestyle tracking, evidence based learning resources, access to a supportive community of endo-warriors and expert clinicians and live and on demand classes delivered by holistic care practitioners.

Joanna sits down with CEO of We Are Emersyn, Megan Del Borrello, to discuss how she and her business partner, Dr Kevin Wernli (PhD), built Matilda and why she is so passionate about getting Matilda into the hands of people who need it, empowering them to live a better life.

Afterwards we'll open up the floor for questions.

A dedicated Continence and Women's Health Physiotherapist, specialising in the assessment and treatment of endometriosis, pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction, Jo graduated from Curtin University in 2012 with an Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) and after quickly realising her love for women's health, went on to further study a Masters of Physiotherapy (Continence and Women's Health) degree, graduating in 2018.

In her spare time, Jo loves to spend time with her young family and golden retriever, going for walks at the beach or camping down south.

Join us for an evening of real conversations and connections with delicious food and refreshing drinks.
