Prescribed Fire in Wisconsin: Train-the-Trainers Session

This hands-on 1-day training will prepare experienced prescribed fire practitioners to instruct novice trainees, with a focus on the role of squad boss in live-fire break-burning exercises.

Registration is free of charge. Nomex suits and hand tools will be provided. Bring leather boots, leather gloves, a water bottle, and a ready-to-eat dinner.

*Note: Prescribed fire experience required. This training primarily serves as an instructor orientation for the WPFC's Private Landowner Training on September 28-29; in the event of a waitlist, priority will be given to those assisting with that program.
