CONTENT

In March 2025, the Commonwealth Government's Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) released a final version of the 2025 Standards. with planned implementation this year, subject to Western Australian regulatory amendments being approved. This webinar is provided by TAC to ensure all trainers and assessors are informed about the latest requirements and changes, particularly Outcome Standards 3.1, 3.2, 3.3 and the Introduction of the Credential Policy as noted on the TAC online guidance hub.

This webinar will unpack the latest changes to the Standards covering:

  • The intent and content of the 2025 Standards in relation to Trainer and Assessor requirements

  • New management practices and expectations for VET workforce management

  • Requirements for those who hold Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110)

  • Expansion of the term 'diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education' to also include 'vocational education and training'.

The webinar also aims to address the latest information on:

  1. The qualifications/units required to be a trainer/assessor;

  2. Vocational competence and industry currency;

  3. Requirements for delivery of training and assessment qualifications.
