Training #17 Rainbow Community Angels in MELBOURNE

RAINBOW COMMUNITY ANGELS ARE COMING TO MELBOURNE!

During the three hour training you will:

• hear more about the Rainbow Community Angels and why we started
• explore non-violent direct action and discuss what this looks like at our Angels actions and events.
• engage in physical role plays demonstrating ways to safely "hold the line" when shielding and protecting LGBTIQA+ events including performers, workers and attendees
• discuss ways to get involved in the Rainbow Community Angels that are accessible and inclusive
• If you are under the age of 16 we ask that you undertake the Rainbow Community Angels training with a parent or adult friend to ensure you are also able to attend RCA activities.

**The venue is to be confirmed closer to the date but will be in the inner north of Melbourne close to public transport.**

Afternoon tea will be provided for everyone but we never say no to anyone who wants to bring something to share.

Masks will be provided and doors/windows opened for air flow so remember to rug up and stay warm!

Training is free, but please register so we know who to expect on the day and can send venue details prior to the event.

Once registered we will send you the venue address details 24 hours before the event.
