Training #9 Rainbow Community Angels in Footscray

RAINBOW COMMUNITY ANGELS TRAINING IN THE INNER WEST SUBURBS OF MELBOURNE

Saturday 9 December 2023

1pm to 4pm with the venue to be confirmed closer to the date. 

During training you will:

• hear more about the Rainbow Community Angels, our aims, why we started, and what the far right extremists are up to.
• explore non-violent civil disobedience and direct action and discuss what this looks like at our Angels mobilisations.
• learn physical tactics for holding the line when shielding and protecting LGBTIQA+ events including performers, workers and attendees.
• meet new friends :)

Please register so we know who to expect on the day. 

If you are under the age of 16 we recommend that you undertake the Rainbow Community Angels training with a parent or adult friend to ensure you are also able to attend RCA activities.

Afternoon tea will be provided for everyone.
