Event description
Do you want to learn more about the trans experience, including terminology, pronouns and how to be a good ally?
Join TransFolk of WA this Pridefest for this special presentation on what it means to be trans and/or gender diverse in today’s society, and to discover how you can be more inclusive. There will also be a Q&A at the end of the session, the perfect opportunity to bring your burning question. This event is open to all, but can be particularly beneficial to parents and families who are joining their trans family member on their journey.
This is a ticketed event with proceeds going to TransFolk of WA, a not-for-profit, volunteer-run organisation providing services and advocacy to the trans community in Western Australia.
This event will be held on the unceded land of the Whadjuk Noongar Nation. TransFolk of WA pays our respect to their Elders past, present and emerging.
