Trans and Gender Diverse In-Person Workshop - WA LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Strategy

Western Australia is creating its very first whole-of-government LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Strategy, and your voice is crucial! We need to ensure the experiences and needs of trans and gender-diverse people are heard loud and clear.
Transfolk WA and Rainbow Futures invites members of the trans and gender diverse community to join our dedicated two-hour in-person consultation session. This is your chance to share your thoughts and contribute to meaningful change from in WA.
Your input will directly:
✅ Inform the WA Government’s LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Strategy.
✅ Help shape Transfolk WA’s future planning and advocacy work.
In-person Workshop Details:
- What: Trans & Gender Diverse Community Consultation (in-person)
- Who: People who identify as trans or gender diverse
- Where: City West Lotteries House, 2 Delhi Street, West Perth 6005.
- Date: Wednesday, 11 May 2025
- Time: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Perth (AWST)
- Places: 25
- Registration: Essential. Places are limited, so please register early.
- Light refreshments will be provided.
- Participants will be reimbursed for their time and contributions.
Getting there:
The venue is a short walk/roll from City West Train Station. The closest bus stop is Harold Boas Gardens on Wellington Street, both the Yellow and Green CAT buses stop there. There is free street parking available on Delhi Street.
Accessibility:
- The building is wheelchair accessible with ACROD parking near the entry and a ramp down from the street
- There are accessible, all gender toilets available
- We will have COVID safety measures in place with an air purification indoors. Consider COVID safety and community care, we will have masks available for attendees! Please stay home if you're feeling unwell.
