Trans Awareness Week: Flag Raising Breakfast

Join the Pride Network as we observe the start of Trans Awareness Week (13-19 November) at the University of Sydney.

• Location: Cloisters near Quad General Lecture Theatre K2.05, Quadrangle (A14), The University of Sydney, University Pl, Camperdown NSW 2006

As we witness the trans flag rise over the University of Sydney Quadrangle, we will take a moment to reflect on the significance of this week in fostering understanding and acceptance of transgender and gender-diverse individuals.

In light of a challenging year, it is crucial that we come together to address the rise in anti-trans discrimination with inclusion, education, and solidarity. This event offers a supportive environment for all, whether you are a long-time member of the Pride Network or new to our community. Engage in meaningful conversations, find solace in shared experiences, and honour the diversity that strengthens our community.

We hope to see you there as we share this moment together. Let us raise the flag with a sense of unity and resolve, marking the beginning of Trans Awareness Week with a commitment to support and understanding.
