Trans Book Festival 2026 workshop tickets

Trans Book Festival (TBF) is the only writers’ festival in the southern hemisphere focused on uplifting and celebrating trans and gender diverse literary excellence in all narrative forms.

The 2026 festival is here! Mark your calendars for 17-19 April 2026 and get ready for a packed program: a full day of workshops, two days of panels, and an evening of storytelling.

Already planning your weekend? Here's the nitty gritty:

• Friday 17 April, six workshops at Studio Take Care in Brunswick. Workshops are ticketed individually.

• Saturday 18 - Sunday 19 April, two days of panels, conversations, and networking at The Wheeler Centre in Melbourne. Ticketing options include single day tickets for Saturday OR Sunday, as well as a two-day ticket for Saturday AND Sunday available here.

• Saturday 18 April, an evening of storytelling at The Moat, situated underneath The Wheeler Centre in Melbourne. The storytelling event is ticketed separately available here. The storytelling event is ticketed separately, and includes canapes and 2 drinks on arrival.

*Note: The Body Percussion & Call and Response workshop is open to everyone, including trans and gender diverse (TGD) people and our allies. The other workshops are only open to members of the TGD community (however carers, parents, and support people are welcome as well).
