Trans Month: Trans Day of Remembrance Vigil presented by TGV

Each year we observe Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR), a time for community solidarity and remembrance. We come together to honour the lives of those we have lost to anti-trans violence and discrimination.

This family friendly commemorative event is presented by Transgender Victoria.

Registration is encouraged, but not required. All are welcome to join in this important act of remembrance and resilience.  Doors open at 5:30PM, with speakers and performances starting at 5:45pm. Entry will remain open for the entire event.

There is a family space, a sensory space, and the main vigil space - all located on level 1. Lift and stair access are both available, and there will be volunteers available to guide. From 7:00PM-8:00PM there will be a social connection hour, with light refreshments available and time to connect with community.
