Thorne Harbour Country, supported by Trans and Gender Diverse Bendigo and Beyond and the City of Greater Bendigo, invite you to join us in celebrating with our transgender friends, family, colleagues and community for Transgender Day of Visibility, on Monday 31st March.
Transgender Day of Visibility (TDoV) is an annual international celebration of trans pride and awareness, recognising transgender, gender diverse and non-binary experiences and achievements.
1pm : Trans and Non-binary flag raising and speeches
Bendigo Library Gardens

2pm : Afternoon tea, trans trivia and affirmation tree
Thorne Harbour Country community hub

Stop in for a snack and wonderful company as we chat, enjoy some trans trivia and add to our TDoV message cube.
All ages, trans, gender diverse and allies are invited to attend this free event.
** Further to the activities throughout the day, be sure to drive past and take a photo of the Bendigo Conservatory (Cnr Park Road and Midland Highway, Bendigo) after dark, to see it lit up in trans colors! Take a photo and share it on social media (if you are safe to do so) or within your networks to create healthy conversations, highlight the importance of Trans Day of Visibility or to let TGD folks in your network, know that they are acknowledged and valued.
