Trans-Femme and Non-Binary Employment Support Event

This event is designed to provide direct support to transgender women and trans-femme non-binary job seekers at various stages of employment, including those who are job-seeking, unemployed, or currently employed and seeking career progression.

The event will showcase a range of practical employment services, providing opportunities to access resume and job application support, professional styling advice, and community connections.

A key feature of the event will be a fireside chat between Mama Mish (Michelle Sheppard) and Joe Ball, Victorian LGBTIQA+ Commissioner, where attendees will have the opportunity to engage in discussion and ask questions about transgender employment and workplace inclusion.

The event will include interactive breakout sessions, where attendees can access tailored support through a range of stations focused on employment readiness.

This free event will be hosted by Affirmation Station.
