TRANS GIG NIGHT is a night for trans and gender diverse folk to come and put music on a stage! Set in the icon that is DT's hotel, TRANS GIG NIGHT is a night where being queer is celebrated, trans performers are given a platform and anyone can come along and enjoy some juicy, booty wiggling heart quenching tunes.

JACK HARRIS

Meet Jack Harris (he/they), a trailblazing trans masc alt-country artist whose heartfelt melodies and raw lyrics captivate audiences. Born and raised in Naarm, Harris draws inspiration from the city's diverse energy and his deep roots in the country music scene. Their music effortlessly merges vulnerability with resilience, offering a fresh take on traditional country sounds while delving into themes of self-discovery and identity. 

Through their craft, Harris challenges norms and pushes boundaries, reshaping the landscape of alt-country with each heartfelt performance. With unmatched authenticity, they invite listeners into their world, where vulnerability is celebrated and stories of resilience are told with unwavering honesty. Samara Marzola is the epitome of sleek and sensual rock. Embodying the essence of this genre, Samara, a transgender artist, fearlessly challenges the norms, injecting a refreshing and queer perspective into the world of rock. Samara’s voice carries an emotional weight that elevates listeners to a place of escape and serenity with visceral delivery.

Drenched in attitude, their signature style accentuated by last night’s smudged eyeliner, defies convention. Think little black dresses, flying Vs, and unapologetically catchy tunes that will have you humming along for days. Samara knows that the true beating heart of rock lies in rebellion, power, humour, and authenticity. Time to enter the smokey and evocative realm of Samara Marzola.

The venue is wheel chair accessible, please call (03) 9428 5724 ahead of time.
