TRANS GIG NIGHT is a night for trans and gender diverse folk to come and put music on a stage! Set in the icon that is DT's hotel, TRANS GIG NIGHT is a night where being queer is celebrated, trans performers are given a platform and anyone can come along and enjoy some juicy, booty wiggling heart quenching tunes.

HERB A LISHES

Hey, I'm Herb A Lishes and this will be me, 7 months on T.

Solo debut with no band, stage name, drag act or masks.. *hopefully*

Come get vulnerable with me and see where a soulful set of stories from Herb's well travelled life gets us.

BIRDGIRL

‘Birdgirl’ or Britt, emerged first from the Adelaide spoken word scene, prior to moving to Melbourne to pursue music.

Creating what they would say is a mixing pot of ‘indie-Emo Australiana crooners’ they have been able to explore identity, sexuality and what makes her up as a person.

Britt has undergone significant growth in the past few years, in realising their queerness and gender fluidity, and hopes that their music can provide a form of refuge for listeners.

GUTHRIE

GUTHRIE is an alt-rock/ folktronica artist based in Naarm (Melbourne). They kind of sound like if Sam Fender & Jeff Buckley had a non-binary child who listened to a lot of Angie McMahon and was obsessed with potato.

Aside from that GUTHRIE has supported Didirri & Mia Wray and played at St Kilda Festival as well as Gaytimes Festival in 2023. They released an EP in 2022 called INCUBATOR which was co-produced with Sophie Payten (Gordi). One of the tracks on it ‘Dickhead Song’ got picked up by Triple J Unearthed with a spot light feature & rotation and ended up in the final 5 tracks in the Music Victoria Awards for best song (alongside Courtney Barnett, Baker Boy & Julia Jacklin).

GUTHRIE loves to weave big dynamic shifts with candid storytelling using their unique voice and gets a real kick out of conveying feelings that are hard to put into words.

The venue is wheel chair accessible, please call (03) 9428 5724 ahead of time. No accessible bathroom, the closest accessible toilet is on the corner of Lennox St and Bridge Road.
