Learning to feel safe in your own body is paramount for any real and permanent healing or transformation to take place – until your nervous system is operating optimally you can only go so far.

I had always been committed to a healthy lifestyle that included a balanced diet regular exercise and a meditation practice. I kept myself fit and healthy but what I did not know was how to release the fear and low-grade anxiety that had remained in my body since early childhood.

I thought it was normal and so struggled with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder chronic fatigue and burnout for years. I had tried pretty much every technique to calm my mind and body but nothing made a real lasting difference – that is until synchronicities placed TRE in my path and I realised immediately that it had the answers I was looking for.

I think many of us don't realise day to day how much anxiety and stress we have from experiencing the bushfires. Karen's knowledge, information along with the actual exercises were surprising helpful on the day and since.

It was a fantastic workshop and provides people with another resource they can access after a traumatic event or as a way to manage stress and anxiety.

Karen's way of explaining how trauma is stored in the body makes a lot of sense to me and has helped me to understand a lot of my own struggles.

I've been doing the exercises for close to a week now and I feel a lot less stressed and anxious than before so started. Each TRE practice I do feels a little different and I don't always feel the benefits immediately. The results really seem to accumulate over time.
