Transformation: From the Page to the Stage

This interactive workshop will encompass both performance and slam poetry, exploring a range of techniques, tips and tricks to turn your words from the page to the stage! It doesn’t matter where you are in your writing journey – first-timer, emerging poet, or skilled performer – everyone is welcome.

About the presenter:

Manveen Kaur Kohli is a British-Indian Performance Poet, Psychologist, and Author of, 'We Need to Talk.' Manveen has performed both nationally and internationally, ranging from Melbourne to Atlanta. She is a two-time state finalist in the Australian Poetry Slam (APS) and has facilitated a range of poetry events, workshops, and panels across Western Australia (WA). Currently, she is the Event Coordinator for Woman Scream Perth. Manveen is passionate about showcasing emerging talent and empowering others to use their voice through the spoken and written word.
