ABOUT TRANSFORMING CONVERSATIONS

Transforming Conversations is the foundation to becoming an outstanding coach. And it is a great way for you to get a solid understanding of coaching skills that you can apply in any context.

Some people use Transforming Conversations as a first step (28 hours delivered over 14 weeks) in a pathway to portfolio accreditation as an ICF Certified Coach. For others, Transforming Conversations helps to integrate a coaching approach into other aspects of leadership, life, or work. Many experienced coaches join Transforming Conversations as part of their continued professional development.

The course is practical and based on sound theory and research. You will learn to say less and watch as people have new insights that make a difference to them.

Learning happens in the moment, there are no assignments or essays although I will provide you with a comprehensive work book and booklist as a resource that might be useful to you. We begin with some simple principles drawn from coaching mastery and aligned with the International Coaching Federation's core competencies. Each week we will build on these and as you apply your learning you will be saying less and seeing transformation happen.

Kirsty Elderton

CEO at Simply Coaching | Coach | Principal Nous Group

As well as running her own coaching practice, Kirsty is a principal at Nous Group, leading the Human-Centred Design practice. Kirsty has over fifteen years of experience coaching clients through the redesign of the trickiest social problems ranging from child protection services, family violence, and the justice system. In addition to design coaching, Kirsty was also an associate of 3D coaching in the UK for four years where she specialised in career coaching, training others to be coaches, and action learning set facilitation primarily for the NHS. Kirsty has worked with people in all stages of their career, across many sectors and from all backgrounds to help them achieve goals that are important to them.

WHAT YOU WILL GET

Fourteen, two hour sessions that deliver twenty eight hours of online teaching and practice where you will master coaching skills.
In addition, you will have a coaching session with an experienced coach so you can experience the value of coaching for yourself.
A workbook and booklist to support your continued learning between our sessions and beyond.
The next programme will commence Tuesday 1st June 2021 and will occur every Tuesday for 14 weeks. We will take a break on the 29th June and the 6th July for the school holiday

On every course we offer two half price places to make the training accessible. We can also offer payment instalments for that that need it.
