'I highly recommend Rebecca's workshops. She is an incredibly gifted and teacher and her warm energy creates a peaceful and loving atmosphere during the workshop. It made me feel very safe and accepted. I also love Rebecca's examples from her own family life - very genuine and authentic. I feel so grateful for the opportunity to participate in this workshop. I've learned a lot! Karolina, mum to 2 children.

• Feel more confident and calm when your child has big feelings

Many parents discover that when children are supported to release stress safely, they often show improvements in:

Behaviour
Sleep
Emotional resilience
Cooperation
Confidence

Instead of feeling overwhelmed by big emotions, you’ll begin to see them as part of a healthy healing process.

Workshop Description

Children naturally know how to heal from stress if we understand how to support them.

From everyday experiences like visits to the dentist or starting school, to more significant events such as illness, accidents, or medical procedures, children accumulate stress in their nervous systems. When this stress isn’t released, it can show up as challenging behaviour, anxiety, sleep difficulties, hyperactivity, learning struggles, or emotional withdrawal.

In this practical and insightful workshop, we will explore how children’s natural stress-release mechanisms: crying, raging, play, and laughter to help restore emotional balance and support resilience.

You will learn how to recognise when behaviour is actually a sign that a child is trying to heal, and how to respond in ways that support emotional recovery rather than suppress feelings.

Drawing on the Aware Parenting approach and Rebecca’s many years of experience working with children, families, and schools, this workshop offers compassionate, evidence-informed guidance and practical tools you can use straight away.

Participants often leave feeling relieved, inspired, and empowered, with a deeper understanding of children and a more peaceful approach to parenting.

The session includes teaching, small-group reflection exercises, and time for questions in a warm, supportive environment.

What participants said from the previous workshops.

'This workshop provided me with precious tools to my parenting journey. Rebecca held a beautiful space over both days. She's a great communicator and the knowledge she shared has changed the way I understand a lot of my child's behaviour. The structure of the workshop made it really fun to be a part of. It was a space where parents and people who work with children from all over the world met, shared experiences whilst learning new meanings behind children's behaviours and gentle and respectful ways of approaching them.' Ana

'Aware parenting concepts and principles are practical and make a lot of sense. they emphasise on establishing respectful and connected relationships with our children recognising our children as human beings who have their own thoughts and feelings that are to be respected. Rebecca effectively explains the concepts in a fun and understandable way giving live examples. which makes her workshops real and practical. My life has completely changed after our recent workshop I with no doubt recommend Flourishing Childhood.' Pontcho
