Transforming Silence: Launch for the LGBTQIA+ Anthology

WestWords are honoured to launch this much-anticipated anthology, Transforming Silence: What are the words? Transforming Silence is the work of writers from the LGBTQIA+ Writers’ Group here at WestWords. Throughout 2021 this diverse group of creators met every Tuesday night via Zoom to discuss life at the intersection of writing. Now still on Zoom and in-person, they worked together to edit, to critique and feed into each other’s work in a rare showing of trust and collaboration.

It is with that same trust and spirit of openness that we invite you to join us for an evening of stories and laughter, as the contributors of Transforming Silence share readings and space with all of us.
