Event description

Please note: Doors open for networking at 7:30 AM, and the program will run from 8:30 to 10:15 AM.

Massachusetts’ transportation infrastructure has suffered from decades of underfunding, but with a new infusion of capital from the recently passed Transportation Bond Bill, the commonwealth signaled a financial commitment to system-wide improvements. And yet challenges and critical policy decisions loom: addressing the cancellation of federal funding for the Mass Pike/I-90 Allston Multimodal Project; meeting ongoing funding needs for the MBTA and Regional Transit Authorities; awarding a new Commuter Rail contract; and realizing the dream of the West-East Rail.

At this timely forum, hear from policy leaders, advocates, and public officials as they assess the current transportation landscape in Massachusetts and explore how to keep the commonwealth moving in the right direction.
