Explore your inner world with your breath

This Transmute Breathwork ceremony will support you to access a deeper understanding of self and your experience of life, through the use of conscious-connected breathing (transpersonal Breathwork). This breathing technique is a powerful transformational tool available to help you grow and evolve. Each session you are invited to use your breath to explore your body, your heart, your soul and your way of being in the world.

Participants will receive guidance in use of conscious-connected breathing, body awareness, and relaxation techniques to enter a meditative and altered state of consciousness. During this state, participants may access memories, thoughts, feelings, movements, and sensations from their subconscious world, which are then amplified to facilitate release, reframing, and deep integration. Transmute Breathwork sessions are designed with a trauma-informed and invitational approach, ensuring that participants can safely explore their experiences as they arise throughout the session.

No experience is necessary and all are welcome to participate in this October's Transmute Breathwork Journey.

Why try breathwork?

Consciously using your breath to connect to the deeper aspects of yourself is one of the most effective ways of creating space for a transmutation to occur from deep within, bringing your mind, body and heart into greater alignment with your truest nature. A way to move beyond that which is unhelpful and in the road of being truly and powerfully available to life.

Group Breathwork is a useful practice for:

working with unhelpful, held or stuck emotional material;
unlocking your life force and sense of vitality;
discharging stress, tension, anxiety, depression or stuck energy;
accessing and digesting unprocessed distressing experiences from the past;
understanding and repatterning limiting behaviours or thought processes;
using group energy to go deeper into your own process;
addressing relational material and experiencing being supported in a group setting;
working with and releasing ancestral, family systems and transpersonal wounds;
exploring consciousness and life questions; and
improving general well-being.

Breathwork is NOT meditation but rather a dynamic body and breath based form of healing, transformation and deep inner unfolding.

Breathwork is NOT suitable for:

people with cardiovascular problems, pregnancy, some psychiatric conditions, psychosis, recent surgery or fractures, acute infectious illness or epilepsy, severe hypertension, glaucoma, or active spiritual emergency.

The Facilitators:

Both Amber and Joshua are qualified one-on-one and group breathwork practitioners. They are registered practitioners with the Australian Breathwork Association and the International Breathwork Foundation. They are both committed to safe, ethical and inclusive offerings. They have offered Transmute Breathwork in Canberra since 2019.

About Body Being: Amber’s passion is using Breathwork to support people to connect with their inner nature, to come home to themselves, digest the pain of the past, reclaim their sense of belonging and find space to live a self-loving, vital, conscious and whole life. Amber offers a heart centred practice bringing warmth, gentleness with power and passion to support people to navigate their inner terrain. She has a background in working with the body, heart & soul through embodied movement practices, meditative arts, deep immersive retreats, conscious dance, energy work, somatic psychotherapy, nature connection and holistic health coaching. About Transition Breath: Joshua is a transpersonal breathwork practitioner, offering individual and group sessions. His approach supports participants to explore and integrate all aspects of their being, including the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies. Joshua has traveled extensively to broaden his understanding of breathwork and other altered-state practices. He draws inspiration from a variety of modalities, including: rebirthing breathwork; Holotropic breathwork; Vipassana meditation; bioenergetics; nature-based shamanic processes such as Vision Quests and plant medicine ceremonies. As a proud member of the LGBTIQA+ community, Joshua is passionate about serving individuals from diverse backgrounds. He has roots in rural Australia and a pug named Norman.
