Transport on the North Shore

Through street talks, public meetings, and conversations across our community, you’ve told us that transport is one of the biggest issues facing the North Shore.

Whether it’s the additional Harbour crossing, congestion charging, safer speed limits around schools, better public transport connections, accessibility, or getting around Auckland more affordably, these decisions have a real impact on our daily lives.

Labour is focused on helping hardworking Kiwis get ahead with practical policies that make life more affordable and put money back in your pocket. That includes our new policy, a simple $20 weekly cap on public transport fares across Auckland. Once you reach the cap, every trip for the rest of the week is free.

Join us for a community discussion about the future of transport in our city and the changes needed to make getting around Auckland easier, safer, and more affordable.
