Welcome the new season at Reclaim & Renew, a spring equinox gathering at Bu Tea Den celebrating art, music, tea, and community.

Spend the afternoon sipping tea, creating collage art from everyday materials, and swapping lightly loved clothing with new friends. Together we’ll mark the seasonal shift toward renewal and growth while celebrating Women’s History Month.

The soundtrack for the afternoon comes from Tocaya, a DJ and cultural anthropologist whose earth-based electronic sets blend nature sounds, Latin American rhythms, and the textures of languages from Spanish to Quechua.

Expect low light, shared tables, good music in the background, and a relaxed pace. Come to make something simple, surprising, and personal.

Bu Tea Den is also home to Paisley ID, an interactive installation featuring our AFTM (Automated Fortune Telling Machine).

During the event, guests are invited to consult the machine and receive a personalized fortune ticket generated using numerology and chakra theory.

Clothing Swap

To participate, bring 3-5 lightly loved items (clothing, shoes, or accessories). Bringing your own bag is encouraged so you can take home any treasures you discover.

Good to Know

Bu Tea Den is a 420-friendly, alcohol-free space. Personal cannabis is welcome, though smoking is not permitted indoors. Guests are welcome to bring vapes or edibles, or step outside if they wish to smoke.
