Trashie is here to make more room for the Boogieman in your closet and give you a home to exchange with other like-minded hoarders.

Trashie breathes new life into flatlined outfits that you don't have a tenderness for anymore. Maybe Mum was right, it was "just a phase". Fear no more, as we are every fashion aficionado's one-stop shop for their once-loved treasures, giving you the space to swap precious items and preloved piles of clothing. The speed dating of fashion.

The circular model of a clothing exchange encourages people to rethink overconsumption and increase the lifespan and emotional value of items already purchased. Instead of buying more items to add to your hoarder’s pile, consider taking what you already have and exchanging it. By swapping, there is less overshopping of op shops and minimises the amount of clothing that will end up in a landfill.

The Trashie event runs over a 3-hour window in which you come and partake in the new retail experience. Relinquish your items and begin searching for your new wardrobe. Shop the treasure trove of items with the small cost of ticket entry and use our token currency to exchange. Collate 4-8 items maximum, we encourage curating and selecting items you feel others will find value in. Ensure to read the T's&C's on our website before purchasing a ticket as we have a guideline for what will be accepted.
