Trauma Sensitive Yoga with Maria Jude

Evidence based, body-based yoga practice for the treatment of PTSD, complex trauma & vicarious (secondary) trauma.

Thursdays during term time.

Term 4: 18 November onwards for 5 weeks.

1pm - 2pm

$75 for 5 week block

$20 drop in casual attendance

Unlike other yoga classes, Maria does not use a hands-on approach to adjust participants’ posture.

There is no pressure on ‘doing it right’ - the focus is on internal experience and choice-making.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

Maria is a graduate of Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) 300 hour training, & the only Tasmanian facilitator & trainer in TCTSY - an empirically validated yoga protocol originally developed at The Trauma Center, JRI, in Boston, Massachusetts.
