The Transport Research Centre (TRC), University of Technology Sydney (UTS) is delighted to welcome you all to attend the International Young Professionals Workshop on Road-Rail Infrastructure (YPWRI), to be held in hybrid (combining a physical event in Sydney, Australia with an online option) on 26 November 2021.

Hotel Location: Located in the heart of Darling Harbour, just behind the Harbourside Shopping Centre and next door to the ICC. Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour address: 12 Darling Drive, 2000 Sydney, Australia
Event location: Magnifique Ballroom, LEVEL 1. Access via lifts or dedicated escalator access from hotel lobby
Parking: There is a Wilson Car Park across the road, located on 100 Murray Street, that offers book a bay parking for $20 full day. Alternatively, the Hotel offers $49 Valet Parking for 1-12 Hours.
Public Transport: The Hotel is best accessed using Town Hall Station which is an 11 minute walk away. Unfortunately, the NSW Government has currently suspended all Light Rail services that run past the Hotel due to urgent repairs.
Covid-safe accredited venue / ALLSAFE hotel
- You will be required to show your vaccine certificate and check-in as you enter the hotel
- Face masks worn at all times, except once you enter the Magnifique Ballroom as drinking/eating will be permitted
- 1.5m social distancing in all common areas
- ALLSAFE hygiene marshalls onsite 24/7 to manage guests health and hygiene questions
Hybrid Livestreamed Workshop
We are offering this workshop for national & international guests unable to attend in person. A Zoom link and more details will be sent closer to the date, individually to registrants who have purchased an online registration ticket.
