Tree-Tastic Community Event: Celebrating the Beauty of Adelaide’s Trees
Event description
Conservation Council SA warmly invites you to our Tree-Tastic celebration.
This event is an opportunity for us to take a moment to celebrate significant law reforms and community efforts in protecting our precious trees. The desperately needed reforms to the Planning Codes were enacted by the South Australian Government in May 2024. This has been an extraordinary effort from building the evidence base and mobilising community led by the Conservation Council SA, and we are very excited about celebrating this milestone with you.
WHEN: Friday, 25th October 2024
WHERE: From 5pm at The Joinery 111 Franklin Street, Adelaide SA 5000
SPEAKERS: Be inspired to share our passion and continue as a united voice for trees protection in South Australia, with brief updates from Joanna Wells (previous tree campaign lead), Tom Morrison (on the law reform), Prof Chris Daniels (Green Adelaide’s Greening strategy) and, Jane Preston and Georgie Hart (our new volunteer tree campaigners).
