Trevor Hart’s music has become nationally known for its highly acclaimed cd’s and the bands legendary performances. John McBeath of The Adelaide Advertise wrote,

they ‘sound at times almost like part of a classical ensemble as the trumpet meanders languidly against the bowed acoustic bass. Then there are cross rhythms,

tempo changes, plenty of space for solos, and clever four-way interplays, all of which bring the music back to its jazz roots.’
