From Durban to the global stage, Sandy B has been a driving force since the early 90s, pioneering Kwaito with a fusion of hip-hop, house, and traditional South African sounds. His iconic 1994 track "Amajovi Jovi" became an underground cult classic due to its laid-back flow and thumping basslines.
His original album gained cult status and became a sought-after collector’s item, largely becoming lost to time until its reissue in 2016 by Canadian label Invisible City, which reignited interest in his work.
Now, as a radio host, label head, and performer, Sandy B continues to shape the cultural fabric of South African music, pushing boundaries and nurturing new talent.
