Tribqu & Crown Ruler present the percussion-obsessed British-Ghanian producer/DJ Hagan (UK) for his warm-up show at Angel on November 24th, ahead of his headline Naarm show at Dutty / Miscellania on Saturday December 2nd. 

Hagan skilfully fuses together genres from UK club music and his heritage from Afro-House to Highlife, Hiplife, Afrobeat UK Funky, Jazz, UK Garage, Gqom and beyond. A favourite in the scene, Hagan has released on labels such as Benji B’s One Level, Jamz Supernova’s Future Bounce, Push and Run, Gobstopper and more while having turned out star-making mixes for the likes of Mixmag, DJ Mag, Crack and Stamp the Wax, to name a few. His DJ skills have seen him close out We Out Here Festival, with sets at Intermission Festival, Motherland Festival plus all of London’s best venues.

Joining him at Angel are locals Tamba, Bamsam, Zjoso & CP-ONE, Sekuru & Bnzou, Samair, Dijok & DJ Glow. 

This event will occur on the un-ceded, traditional lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. Tribqu and Crown Ruler recognise their sovereignty and ongoing fight against colonialism in so-called Australia. Always Was, Always Will Be. Free entry for all First Nations attendees.
