Trick or Treat at West Overton Village
Event description
Put on your favorite costume and Trick or Treat across our historic village this Halloween season!
Visit many of the historic structures around West Overton to enjoy candy and other treats. Visit the Trunk or Treat in a parking lot along Frick Avenue for even more candy stops (Frick Avenue will be closed for this event).
The Museum will be open to explore our interactive exhibition, Forging Ahead and Falling Behind: Industrial Growth in a Rural Community.
Scottdale Public Library will be joining us for crafts, coloring, and stories. Read-alouds will take place at 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 5:30 p.m.
Along Frick Avenue, part in a playful revival of the late 19th and early 20th century celebration of Chalk Night, a local tradition in which mischief makers marked buildings with chalk ahead of Halloween. Draw fall and Halloween images with chalk on our historic metal bridge!
Catherine's Craft Room will be open with handmade items available for purchase.
We also have treats for grown-ups! Specialty, fall-themed cocktails will be available for purchase in the Distillery.
Take photos in front of our fall-themed photo areas and grab a bite to eat from Geyer Concessions!
