    Rainwater and wind carries litter from our streets into the ocean and harms our native wildlife. So let's do something about it! 

    Join Rotary Club of Elizabeth Quay Inc. members and friends for a morning of cleaning one of our States many beautiful beaches, Trigg Beach.

    After we've finished scouring the area for unwanted waste, you are invited to share a catered sausage sizzle lunch as a reward for your hard work.

    Date:

    The event will occur on Saturday, 9 March 2024.

    Time:

    We will begin picking up rubbish at 10:00am. Tongs down at 12:00 noon for some relaxation over a sausage sizzle with your fellow volunteers.

    Location:

    We will meet outside the Trigg Beach Toilets at 9.45am and will begin our clean heading southwards before returning to the finishing point at Clarke Reserve.

    What is provided:

    We will supply disposable gloves, subscreen, disposable rubbish bags and bottled water. 

    What to bring and wear:

    We recommend that you wear appropriate clothing, including closed shoes.

    You may also consider bringing some of the following items:

    • Tongs for picking up rubbish 
    • Hat
    • Face mask

    Minors and Children Disclaimer

    This event is designed for people aged 15 and up. All children and minors under 18 years of age must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times whilst participating at the event. REQ and our volunteers are not responsible for supervising children at this event.
