Trimester 3 Orientation 2025 (SET)

Orientation is a time to start making history by meeting friends, exploring your campus, and engaging with services designed to support your learning. During orientation, you will meet your lecturers and tutors and learn about the academic and personal support services available to you.

All students:

9:00am-9:30am: Welcome & Morning tea with other students in your faculty, located in Hub Central

9:45am - 10:45am: Get all the information you need about commencing your studies at your Faculty Welcome, located in Napier 102.

10:45am - 11:30am: You will then be guided by our current students on a campus tour directly from your Faculty Welcome. 

11:30am-1:00pm: Get your free lunch in our Western Courtyard then get to know your academic and personal support services during the support services expo in hub central! 

International Students:

1:00pm - 3:00pm: Start your journey by joining your fellow international students at the International Student Essentials & Aussie Culture sessions in Napier 102. 

Social Events for all students:

3:00pm - 5:00pm: All commencing students are invited to join International Student Support for Mix & Mingle. Here's what to expect:

• 🤝 Meet Your Classmates – Connect with fellow students from across the globe through games and activities

• 🎈 Make New Friends – Start building your social network while enjoying fun activities

• 🍟 Enjoy snack food and drink on us, and prizes up for grabs across the event!

• 💗 Get familiar with your campus and meet the International Peer Mentors

 
5:00pm onwards: All students are invited to the Sports event run by the Masters in Technology Student Association (MITSA). Registrations for this event can be found here.
