Our 150th Anniversary
We are delighted to give our community of past students, staff, and friends of Trinity Catholic College the opportunity to reflect on 150 years of Catholic Secondary School Education. The six schools that have come together since 1876 are part of a history that has contributed to who we are today. We invite all alumni from our ‘family tree’ to join us for a weekend of reconnection and memories.
October 16th – 18th 2026
Friday 16 October
Join us at Trinity Catholic College from 6pm until 9pm for the official welcome, followed by a social evening with finger food and refreshments.
Saturday 17 October
The next morning, back at our college, will be another chance to catch up; opportunities for year group and previous school photos, check out the memorabilia, have a tour of the Trinity Campus, be entertained with a special showcase event, and enjoy an afternoon tea for those who prefer a quieter time to chat.
On Saturday night, the time is yours. We encourage you to gather with groups of friends and acquaintances to share old stories, experience the nightlife and hospitality of Dunedin, or revisit favourite old places with plenty of memories! We are happy to make suggestions for somewhere to dine according to your preference. This may even be the ideal time for previous schools’ ex-student associations to organise a get-together.
Sunday 18 October
Sunday morning is an opportunity to come together for Mass at Mercy Parish (St Patrick’s Basilica, Macandrew Road), celebrated by Bishop Michael Dooley, followed by morning tea and fond farewells … until next time!
