Doors 9:00pm | Friday 31st October

Grand Poobah Kissing Room

Join us for the second instalment of your new queer club night in Nipaluna/Hobart. The category is: HallowQweeeen!

The phone rings. The night grows hungry. The killer’s already in the club.

Step into your final-girl era, or embrace the evil within.
Sacrifice your inhibitions. Make the dance floor bleed.
By the hand of Trinity, you are cordially invited to cross the threshold.
Come get possessed.

Trinity is a place of communion for the curious, the queer and the non-conforming. Our vision is to create more opportunities for connection, creativity and celebration among our LGBTQIA+ community. Music is the highest form of expression – the dancefloor is our space to worship the divine self.

As a special birthday gift to this instalment’s host-of-honour, you may wish to purchase “Maja's-well".

Proceeds from this will help to support future events and initiatives addressing the challenges faced by our community. We have ticket allocations for low-income earners (concession) and mob tickets are available by request through our instagram page: @_x_trinity_x_

We love you and can’t wait to see you all xx

Acknowledgement

Trinity acknowledges the palawa people –the traditional owners of the land – and pay our respects to elders past and present. We recognise that many expressions of gender and queerness in Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander communities were silenced as a result of christianisation and colonisation. The struggle to seek justice – to remember and address this nation’s past – is ongoing and essential for individual and collective healing. Sovereignty was never ceded. It always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.

Safe Space

Beloved allies and cis men, please be aware of who this space is for – make connections with care, respect each other’s space and let community and kindness be your guide. This is a night for decentering masculinity and uplifting trans and sapphic love. If you experience shady or racist behaviour, please report it to one of our friendly hosts – our contact details will be posted up at the venue.

P.S. If you are experiencing cold and flu-like symptoms or feel unwell please stay at home. We are happy to refund your ticket.

Accessibility

HallowQueeeen! will be held in the Kissing Room of Poobah. This venue is only accessible by stairs. There will also be flashing lights and haze/smoke machines operating at the event. If this poses any difficulties for you on the night we are happy to refund your ticket. We aim for our next event to be fully accessible.
