Trío Guadalevín presents El Noroeste

Trío Guadalevín presents El Noroeste – Music inspired by Latine communities of Washington, past and present. The program features three original new works exploring our state’s Latine history over the past 230 years. 

This is the inaugural concert of a new music series curated by lute player Gus Denhard - A Meeting Place: Early Music at the Black and Tan Hall. Supported by a 4Culture Individual Art Projects grant, the program advances Gus' longtime commitment to re-defining Early Music as an intercultural dialogue, challenging the historically Eurocentric confines of the genre.
