Event description

In Term Two, John Paul College Primary School is excited to announce that we will be hosting a series of Triple P Parenting sessions.

Triple P is an internationally-acclaimed parenting program which is offered free to all Queensland parents and carers of children up to 16 years of age. The Triple P program is based on extensive research and provides parents with a toolbox of practical parenting tips and strategies. The program helps parents to encourage emotional wellbeing, set family routines and rules that work, and make parenting more enjoyable.

Triple P helps you:

  • Raise happy, confident kids
  • Manage misbehaviour so everyone in the family enjoys life more
  • Set rules and routines that everyone respects and follows
  • Encourage behaviour you like
  • Take care of yourself as a parent
  • Feel confident you’re doing the right thing

The 3 week program, facilitated by Triple P trained presenter and JPC Year Five Teacher, Mr Steve Clacher, will be held in the Outside School Hours Care Building (Drake) and will be held on:

  • Wednesday 17 April 2024, 9:30am to 11am
  • Wednesday 24 April 2024, 9:30am to 11am
  • Wednesday 1 May 2024, 9:30am to 11am

The completion of this parenting course is reliant on your attendance at all three sessions.

Parents will receive a Triple P parenting brochure highlighting key messages at the conclusion of each session.

Tickets are strictly limited so please register your attendance no later than 5pm Friday 12 April.

Coffee and tea will be provided.
