Ninth Annual Three Rivers Information Security Symposium (TRISS)

We are excited to bring TRISS 2026 back to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center (DLCC) in downtown Pittsburgh on Thursday, October 22, 2026. The DLCC is accessible to downtown offices, public transportation, and a connected parking garage.

TRISS is a one-day multi-track information security symposium. This symposium separates the speakers and sponsorships to ensure all speakers have an equal chance of being selected based on the technical merit and relevance of their presentations. TRISS 2025 had over 500 attendees and over 30 sponsors.

Pittsburgh area information technology and security organizations are working together to increase awareness, collaboration, and knowledge among the local information security community. Regional security groups and educational partners supporting the symposium are committed to a volunteer-run, education-focused model with a strong mission to support the next generation of security professionals.

TRISS attracts a wide range of practitioners and leadership from across the region's most prominent industries, including financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and technology. This gathering provides a unique opportunity for professionals at all levels—from technical analysts to executive leadership—to network and share insights.

Light breakfast, lunch, and refreshments are included in the registration cost. Attendees will receive an email within 2 weeks after the event documenting their attendance and noting 5 hours of educational contact.
