Tristars Hauraki 2026
Description
TriStars Junior Triathlon – Ngātea 2026
The Hauraki Plains Community Hub, is excited to bring the TriStars Junior Triathlon back to Ngātea.
TriStars is a fun, inclusive swim - bike - run event for children aged 5–13, designed to build confidence and encourage participation in a relaxed, supportive environment. This is a participation-only event with no timing — the focus is on having a go, doing your best, and enjoying being active, all children receive a medal.
There’s a distance for everyone, with age groups provided as a guide only. Children are encouraged to enter the category that best suits their ability. Don’t have a bike? No problem - Splash and Dash options are available so everyone can take part.
The event takes place at the Hugh Hayward Domain and Ngātea Swimming Pool, with marshals, life guards, clear courses, and a strong community atmosphere. Families are encouraged to come along, cheer loudly, and enjoy a great morning together.
