2nd annual Trivia & Silent Auction Night with Justice McCallum

Inner City Legal Centre invite you to join them at their 2nd annual Trivia & Silent Auction Night with keynote speaker the Honourable Justice Lucy McCallum on Thursday 30 May 2019 at the Sydney office of Herbert Smith Freehills. 

ABOUT THE EVENT

Our 2018 inaugural event with the Honourable Michael Kirby was a huge success with over 120 solicitors and 12 General Counsel attending and 28 company sponsors supporting the event to raise almost $30,000 for our legal centre. You can view last year's event photos by clicking here. Due to its success, we are again hosting the 2nd annual Trivia & Silent Auction Night event with Justice Lucy McCallum of the Supreme Court as this year's keynote speaker, and we invite you to join us. 

The event features 12 tables of legal firms in friendly competition against each other with food and drinks included. The event will run for three hours. Over 120 senior legal practitioners will be attending, including 12 General Counsel (one per table) acting as table team captains. Already confirmed General counsel are:

What are we fundraising for?

We are raising funds to support our LGBTIQ law reform work and also our Safe Relationships Project (“SRP”). The SRP is an award winning in-court support and advice service for LGBTIQ individuals who experience domestic violence. It is a world’s first and has been running for 10 years at the Downing Centre Local Court.

About ICLC

ICLC is a not-for-profit legal centre based in Kings Cross. We provide free legal advice to vulnerable people in NSW, particularly those who identify as LGBTIQ.
