Troth / Glen Rey

Troth are the nipaluna duo of Amelia Besseny and Cooper Bowman. Their music blurs lines between minimal pop, immersive ambience and field-recording based abstraction. Key themes across their work are interpreting time spent in natural environments, attempting to engender beauty via tapping into elements of ritual and finding new modes to express dialogue with each other.

Along with Yuta Matsumura, Amelia and Cooper also make up 2/3 of trip hop trio, Th Blisks (Efficient Space).

Troth have released on the labels A Colourful Storm, Knekelhuis and Altered States Tapes among others and have just returned from their second tour of Europe.
They have previously played Soft Centre, the 2024 Sydney Biennale and 2024 Absorb(ed) festivals. 
This will be the Naarm launch of their new album, An Unfinished Rose on Glasgow's Night School Records.

Glen Rey. is the moniker of Mitchell J.G. Reynolds: a musician and electrical engineer originally from regional NSW, currently based in Melbourne/Naarm, Australia.

Refined over multiple full-length releases under the previous name Bluetung, his sonic world-building is steeped in experimental music history with whispers of kosmische, tape music, avant-folk and microsound echoing into a formless ambient space of his own devising.

Reynolds has been releasing works since 2018 on beloved cult labels including Theory Therapy, Altered States Tapes and .jpeg Artefacts, with his newest LP released by Brierfield Flood Press.

He has collaborated and performed with artists such as Mara Schwerdtfeger, Other Joe, Nico Niquo, Troth, Florian TM Zeisig, and Mike Midnight.
