From Classroom to Career: Business Insights from Gaglardi Alumni
Description
Join us for an evening with two TRU alumni as they share how they moved from being students to building their careers, and what made a difference along the way.
Jason Staiger (BBA ’19), founder of Legacy Marketing, will speak about how he went from student-athlete to building a business that has grown beyond $100 million in revenue. Over the past seven years in direct-to-door sales, he has gained hands-on experience in sales and leadership and trained hundreds of representatives. He will share what he has learned, how he built his career after graduation and discuss summer employment opportunities available for TRU students interested in gaining real experience.
Greg Stewart (BBA ’12), a former TRU basketball player, TRU Gaglardi alum and two-time Paralympic gold medallist in shot put, will speak about vulnerability, taking ownership and leading with integrity. At the highest level of sport, he has built a reputation not only for his athletic success, but also as a speaker. Through his talks, he draws on his experience to connect performance, mindset and personal growth from the classroom to the workplace.
