TRU Fall Convocation 2026 Guest Registration

Celebrate the class of 2026 at the TRU Fall 2026 Convocation Ceremony on October 9th, 10:00 am.
IMPORTANT:
Registering your guests does not guarantee your eligibility to participate at convocation. To attend convocation students must:
Apply to graduate by July 31, 2026, on myTRU
Reserve regalia by September 16
If you were not able to apply to graduate or reserve regalia by the above deadlines, please reach out to ceremonies@tru.ca.
Schedule of ceremonies
Friday, October 9, 2026, 10:00 a.m. - All schools and faculties
Student check-in: 8:30 a.m.
Ceremony Start time: 10 a.m.
Each graduate can register up to 6 guests. You do not need to register yourself. All convocation guest reservations are available free of charge.
To access your guest reservations, enter your student number (ex. t00123456) as your access code. If your t-id does not work, please email ceremonies@tru.ca.

- Ceremony duration
The ceremony is estimated to be 2.5 hours long. Ceremony length may vary based on the number of graduates.
- Can I reserve more than 6 guest tickets?
No, a maximum of 6 guest tickets are available per valid t-id access code.
- What do I do if my t-id is invalid to reserve my guest tickets?
Please email ceremonies@tru.ca if your student id access code is invalid.
- Regalia (cap, gown and stole)
Regalia orders for Fall 2026 are now closed. If you were unable to preorder regalia but still want to attend convocation, you can pay for a regalia rental at the TCC on the day of your ceremony. Rentals are $31.00 + tax, card payment only. Please arrive 90 minutes before your ceremony start time to pay for your regalia on site.
- Accessibility
The TCC is a wheelchair accessible venue. Please note that the TCC does not have wheelchairs available for guest use. Live captioning services are available during the ceremony. There are designated accessible parking spots at the Tournament Capital Centre.
If you require support with the procession or other accommodations, contact ceremonies@tru.ca by October 6, or ask us in person on the day of your ceremony.
- Parking
For economy parking, graduates and guests are encouraged to park in parking lot N. Enter campus via the West Gate and take University Drive to parking lot N, located behind the North Tower residence building. Parking in this lot is $5 for the day.
There are designated accessible parking spots at the TCC. Visitors displaying a valid permit for people with disabilities can park for free and do not need to register their license plate. Those requiring parking for more than two hours can make arrangements with staff at the TCC Front Counter.
