Truck-It 2025 100 Years of Cholmondeley House

Welcome to Truck-it 2025 – a convoy with heart!

Join us for a powerful day of community, connection, and chrome as we roll out Truck-it 2025, a one-of-a-kind event where trucks take over the streets of Christchurch, giving local tamariki an unforgettable ride of a lifetime. All proceeds raised go to Cholmondeley Children’s Centre, which provides vital care and respite for children aged 3–12 across Canterbury.

There are a few ways you can be part of the action:

🚛 Truck Drivers – Register your truck, donate a koha, and take part in the convoy to give kids a front-row seat to the world of trucking.

👨‍👩‍👧 Parents & Caregivers – Register your child for a once-in-a-lifetime ride in a big rig as part of the convoy experience.

👀 Spectators – Check out the convoy route map and find a great spot along the way to wave, cheer, and enjoy the spectacle as the trucks roll past!

After the convoy, we’ll return to the Canterbury Showgrounds for an afternoon packed with food trucks, live music, bouncy castles, and a charity auction, with every dollar raised going directly to Cholmondeley Children’s Centre.

Whether you’re behind the wheel, in the passenger seat, or waving from the roadside—Truck-it 2025 is all about coming together to support Canterbury kids. Let’s make it a day to remember!


Schedule:

8.30am - 9.30am: Registration & Child Pairing
10.15am: Drive begins followed by Vorteke Waka
12.30pm - 3pm: Return to Showgrounds for food, games & music
3:00pm: Live Charity Auction
