True lovers Date Night (Meanjin, Brisbane)

They call me love, like it's my very own name. You're singing in the kitchen. Wearing my shirt straight from the dryer. You've become my garden escape. I'm so glad we stumbled across each other on that Friday evening. 

Welcome to Third Rodeo's first Meanjin Social Dating Event - True Lovers Date Night. It's date night - dedicated to exploring love, chemistry and pleasure. 

EVENT DETAILS:

7.00pm - 12.00am ⭐

Come join us on the evening of Friday 17 January for social dating at, It's Still a Secret (True Love Club Room), South Brisbane. It is a casual, but charming atmosphere, privately booked out for you to socialise among the Lesbian/Queer community. Grab your Cabernet Sauvignon from the bar and turn strangers into dearest companions. 

Limited seats available. You never know who you'll meet.

Please note: This event is designed for ages 21-29 and who are looking to romantically date. Please RSVP by January 16th 12.00pm. 

Event Breakdown:
We'll greet ya at the door, tick ya name off and give you a match card. 

We will have a sharp starting time to ensure you get the best chances of meeting everyone. 

*Times are approximate*

★  Group Dating: Collect Match Card. This will assist with social mingling activities. Introduce yourself to the group before the rounds. Settle in and get familiar with one another. 

7.00pm - 8.00pm*

★  Speed Dating Session: You can be expected to go on at least 12 dates - 4 Minutes per round. 

- Always introduce your name & pronouns 

- Questions are fun, flirty, and creative! Nothing too serious here!

- Participants progress from one table to the next. Number of dates will be determined on how many participants there are. On the night we will determine which direction we will move in. Please notify the host if you have any mobile accessibility requirements so we can assist you (-:

8.00pm - 9.30pm*

★ Group Dating: Stay for group social mingling activities. We'll use your match cards here. You will be designated a single from an iconic 'pair'. eg. 'Salt'. You will find your partner, 'Pepper'. The match card will then have questions for you to exchange. Use these as conversation starters and see what ya have in common or what differences you can share with each other. 

9.30pm - 12.00pm

★ Call me cards: Keep in contact with each other. Write your details down on one of the 'Call me Cards' displayed around the venue and give it to them. It's a lovely gesture, an old fashion trick that works like charm! 

This is operating at a licensed venue. Please do not BYO. This event is designed for persons 21+. Please note, you will be exposed to loud chatter, large crowds, background music and mood lighting. Photography will be present, although, if you wish to not have your photograph taken, let us know (: This venue is  wheelchair accessible.
