Richard Denniss

Executive Director of the Australia Institute, Dr Richard Denniss is a prominent Australian economist, author and public policy commentator, and has spent the last twenty years moving between policy-focused roles in academia, federal politics and think-tanks. He was a Lecturer in Economics at the University of Newcastle and former Associate Professor in the Crawford School of Public Policy at ANU.

Nicolette Boele

Nicolette Boele is the 'Shadow Independent Candidate' for Bradfield. In 2022 she made Bradfield a marginal seat with a record swing of 20.9%. In 2023 Bradfield was the only LNP held electorate to vote Yes to the Voice to Parliament. For the past decade she has served as an executive at the Responsible Investment Association Australasia, the Investor Group on Climate Change and the Clean Energy Finance Corporation. She has political advocacy experience from her roles for state government, not-for-profit organisations and think-tanks, and has provided consultancy advice to some of Australia’s largest listed companies.
