Activating Truth Telling for Us

Drawing on the 2025 theme for Reconciliation, Bridging Now to Next you are invited to send images from nature that represent all three components (now, the bridge and what is next) . Three representations from nature that will assist your journey of healing and remedy. No longer shackled by truths not spoken, no longer inhibited by being blocked, silenced or rendered voiceless.

We all have different perspectives of the same situation. This is an opportunity for you to rewrite your narrative, releasing what no longer serves you, crafting and navigating your bridge and expressing the future you are consciously moving toward.

Send your three images of nature, clearly marked Now, Bridge and Next with your first name, age and location. All will be gratefully received. Some may be selected by Alana and a small panel of truth tellers, to feature in an exhibition that will be held online and in physical venues across Australia. You will be contacted if selected. No need to provide an accompanying narrative to your images unless selected. If wanting to just release and not potentially exhibit please advise at time of emailing in. Exhibition scheduled for November 2025 - you will be advised

Whilst this process is meant to be one of healing and remedy it may activate past trauma for you. Please seek comfort in all the ways that work for you, firstly attending to your physical needs (eat, sleep, gentle exercise, time in nature) and seeking personal, professional and cultural support as appropriate.
