Event description

This circle is all about welcoming and celebrating Spring. We are going to reflect on our winter musings and lessons, begin planting the seeds for new beginnings and growth, and reflect on where we might need to seek more balance in our life.

The Spring Equinox, or Ostara, falls almost a week after our gather, on Friday 23 September. And it’s when the length of the day and night are equal. This is the mid-point between Imbolc (celebrated in August) and the Summer Solstice, or Beltane, (celebrated in December). The energy of the Spring Equinox is all about new beginnings and growth, as well as curiosity and playfulness. We can plant seeds (metaphorically and physically!) that will grow and bloom over the warmer months. It also draws our attention to balance because for a moment, our day and night are of equal lengths.

Some of our questions you may want to start pondering include:

  • What lessons did you learn during the winter months?
  • Did any dreams emerge over the winter months?
  • Do you have any passions or experiences you have you always wanted to try but keep putting off?
  • Are there any changes you’d like to make in your life?
  • What would you like to see grow in your life over the coming months? Or consider what you’d like to harvest later in the year (how might your life look different)?
  • Where may you need to seek more balance in your life?

I really hope you can join us for a night of new beginnings, growth and hope xox

Our event will support “A fairer world for disadvantaged young girls”, a project that transforms the literacy skills of primary school children in low income countries, to ensures girls have the skills and support they need to stay in high school and complete their secondary education.
